METAL STRUCTURE DIMENSIONS More Information on Certified Carports


To accommodate drainage and for appearance, STEELLoK includes a 6" overhang around the entire building. Please keep this in mind when ordering the dimensions of your frame. As an example, a 20' wide x 30' long frame will have a 21' wide x 31' long roof.

30 year frame warranty 14 gauge galvanized steel 3" x 2" tubing with Flo-Coat® is standard. This superior product includes an industry-best 30 year warranty.

** Note: Side or end walls must be "closed" in order to select specific garage door, walk-in door, and window frameout options. The actual placement of the doors and windows will be determined prior to shipping. STEELLoK recommends the use of auger anchors on all structures installed on dirt, ground, or gravel. The number of anchors needed in your region will automatically be calculated based on the length and type of building selected. Basic anchoring is included with all buildings.

There are two roof styles for kits to choose for your metal carport. A-Frame roof styles have a 6" roof overhang on all four eaves. A vertical roof, depending on state, may or may not have the 6" overhang on the front and back. When placing an order on STEELLoK.com, you are selecting the size of your frame. ROOF PITCH

roof orientation from STEELLoKThe standard roof pitch in the industry is 3:12. That means the roof, from the side of the building to the center peak, will increase 3" in height for every 12". A premium 4:12 pitch roof may be purchased online. For other roof pitch requirements, please call us for a quote. A full chart is available under Frequently Asked Questions.

COLORS

STEELLoK offers 12 colors for your metal walls, roof, and trim. If you need specific color samples, please contact us directly. Galvalume is available as a special order color. Please contact a sales represenative at STEELLoK for more information.

GALVANIZED FRAME &
30 YEAR WARRANTY

STEELLoK uses a 14 gauge galvanized steel frame standard with all orders and comes with an industry best 30 year warranty. The Flo-Coat® process is a superior method of galvanizing steel tubing. It begins with flat strip steel, which is then cold-formed and electric-resistance or induction welded. After welding, the tube receives a triple layer of protection-zinc, coversion coating, and a clear polymer top-coast - all applied in-line to assure a uniform coating for added strength and durability.

VERTICAL ROOF

Vertical roofing is recommended on structures longer than 31 feet. Vertical siding is also available. Please note, vertical siding and roofing includes additional framing that may add to the overall strength of your metal building.
